That's a nice one.
Thank you tradio! glad you like it!
Interesting you find it- the landscape- beautiful, joecichjr... I suppose one can find beauty most anywhere, but a tangle of stubborn brush and reeds conglomerated with deep dead and dying debris is certainly more attractive at a distance. Fortunately, it's salt water and lacking in 'gators... 'cause they don't mind humidity... Thanks for dropping by Joe!!!

Well done and thanks for sharing!
Always a pleasure to hear from you, Mike- THANKS!!
I like the composition and exposure. Being from south Louisiana it is a scene I am quite familiar with.

Yes, a better photographer would surely argue that point... but this is the best I could do...
Great scene!!!!
Probably find more from a boat.

Yup, you know exactly what that scene feels and smells like, kpmac and, in truth, it's not bad, just a bit repetitious... Which reminds me, once-upon-a-time, I'd trot down to Hackberry and poke around... get some really good boudin and a $12 sack of oysters... really liked Hackberry, wish I'd then taken a few photos... haven't been back since before a hurricane blew away the place... THANKS!! for dropping in and commenting, kpmac!!

No doubt you're right, Manglesphoto and if I ever get unpacked, I'll explore with a kayak- no telling what there is to find, see or poke at back in those tangles... should be fun!!! Thanks for looking!!

You and Clyde Butcher find beauty where others just see a swamp. And I agree with both of you!
I like this one a lot--the fog makes the shot for me.
