seeSAW, I took my motorcycle budies to The Springfield armory....great museum. Thanks for the memory

First Springfield Armory percussion musket was the Model 1842. The Model 1861 and there after were rifled muskets, then rifles. The Model 1842 saw service in the Mexican War.

Very interesting. Great to see that some of our heritage is preserved amongst all of the destruction last summer (2020). Thanx for sharing.
