Thanks very much, Tim. Sharing photos with folks who understand is a pleasure. No problem finding Green Herons around here but even with that, it's not common getting a photo of a Green Heron that is actually GREEN. It all depends on the light.

Light is what it is all about. Same with hummers and birds with iridescent feathers.
