Yes, all in one day. The lake is an hour and a half drive each way so we make the most of it. We usually drive through twice with breakfast in between. And the drive itself takes about two to two and a half hours so we spend most of a day on the trip and four to five hours in the swamps. A lot can happen in the swamp in five hours! I'm glad you liked the Green Heron, most of the time you can't even see the green in the plumage.

Thank you. I'm always trying to find good backgrounds and great light. The subject is the subject but it's always nice to have some fluff around the edges!
