Considering your avatar,** a dog, I can imagine that if your arm itched, your hind leg coming up to scratch

**Meaning: from video games, where you create an avatar to represent you on screen.

** A manifestation of a released soul. He would have licked my arm better.

Probably not.
As Indi posted earlier in this thread, taking an anti-inflammatory medication such as aspirin, ibuprofen, etc. may dampen the body's response to the vaccine, resulting in lower antibody production.
The surprise to me, is that that acetaminophen - not typically considered to be an anti-inflammatory agent - may have a similar effect. Apparently acetaminophen may inhibit an as-yet unidentified inflammatory pathway (cox-3) and diminish antibody production in response to a vaccine.
Such reputable institutions as Henry Ford Hospital, among others, advise people to avoid taking aspirin, ibuprofen, acetaminophen for as long as 2 weeks before and 2 weeks after receiving a vaccine, if at all possible.

I too am hesitant about taking this vaccine due the possible long term effects. I’ve seen Chris Cuomo interview Fauci on the vaccine and it left me in complete confusion and more doubt. I do realize the virus is real and has caused many deaths. However there are some strange happenings. My nephew seems to have gotten the virus from his partner and both were with my sister and brother-in-law during the pre infection period all the way up to infection and in close proximity as the were together in the same home all that time. My nephew had a fever, loss of taste and a severe headache while his partner had no symptoms at all. They than parted ways and my sister and brother-in-law quarantined for fourteen day and never checked positive for the virus which I find very odd. By the way my nephew and his parter are/were anal about being very cautious, wearing masks and gloves and both work from home and their only contact was my sister and brother-in-law all during this pandemic.

A study has shown that people who are happy and energetic respond better to the Covid vaccine.

"In one study, people who described themselves as energetic, cheerful or relaxed produced a 73 per cent greater antibody response than those who regarded themselves as nervous, tense or angry. Another found that those who were in a positive state of mind on the day of a flu shot were better protected by the vaccine 16 weeks later than those who were in a less upbeat mood. Other studies have found that people with stronger friendships and romantic relationships responded better to vaccinations."

Studies have shown that people who are happy and energetic respond better to .......... almost everything. And that is a lot of studies conducted on a vaccine that has only been available for a few weeks. Who did they conduct all of them on? Certainly not the test groups - they didn't even know which ones received the real vaccine. I have not heard of anyone contracting the disease after being vaccinated, so on what basis are they saying it works better for one group than another? If no one catches it, then it seems it works equally well on both groups.

Jerry,
I’m on the fence about taking this vaccine, only because it was fast-tracked, so I worry about potential side effects. I’ve seen your posts, so your well read on this subject. Does any literature suggest any potential side effects or risks?
So far the only negative story I’ve heard was from my wife’s friend. Her sister works for a cardiologist who got the vaccine last week and within 12 hours he began shaking. He obviously knew what to do and the shaking subsided after taking plain aspirin.

There is one report of a doctor in his 40s who was healthy. He took the vaccine, developed a rash and other problems and died two days later. I guess he had some unknown allergies?

I don’t understand why adults have such an aversion to an injection. It’s just an itty bitty needle. I bet as a youngster you did some pretty dumb things during play that caused more pain than that itty bitty needle. 😏

Say What ! ! ... aaaa, was that a baby aspirin? A man, Machia, heard it from his wife, who heard it from a friend, who heard it from the sister of a woman who worked for a cardiologist, she heard it probably from the wife of the cardiologist who did not plug in the electric blanket. And the myths begin.

Do we take aspirin as a precaution? How many COVID vaccine side effects were reported? Few, but there have been some, thus far none have died. In contrast, we can not say that people who have contracted COVID soon to be in USA half million who have died from COVID-19
https://medshadow.org/covid19-vaccine-side-effects/

My reservation is based on the people who screw-up not adding dry ice to keep the vaccine ultra cold and dare not tell their boss the screwed up a batch.

Lol, I get you.
But this report was accurate. He did get the shakes.
I know people who got sick from the flu shot. So nothing’s guaranteed in this life. But I’m leaning towards getting vaccinated because a lot of people are contracting this despite being cautious.
And how your body reacts is the real puzzle. Despite age and health factors there’s lots of stories that are puzzling.
For example in NJ here a 30 year old baseball coach who was a bit of an athlete himself succumbed to it very quickly. On the other hand, a 97 year old WW2 veteran with heart and kidney problems sailed right through it!
Thanks for the information and stay safe.

Hello,

A few days after the first batch of the vaccine was being administered it was reported that people were found to develop Bell's Palsy. Another person developed tunnel vision after the vaccine.

I was first planning on receiving the vaccine. I now am not.

Yes, and at 85, I am very healthy... indeed I may die of long-term OD of vitamins. For this Pandemic, I as a special, take D3 with K2 K7 combo, Zinc, and Lysine. Knowledge of D3 and Zinc is not common knowledge, but the use of Lysine to tilt the balance of amino acids toward no fostering RNA replication is not common knowledge.

"L-lysine blocks amino acids such as arginine that are responsible for spreading viruses throughout the body. L-lysine is particularly effective in reducing the number and frequency of herpes-cold-sore outbreaks."

Oh my! Our favorite Nuts and Chocolate is rich in arginine, sorry to say.

If you could kindly reveal the source of the report I'd be grateful - if not we should treat this as fake news.
