Bird in flight test of new lens

Went out with new lens (Olympus 100-400) and 1.4 teleconverter to get a feel for the equipment and ended up capturing the following. Never seen a gull fishing before.
By the way the bird didn't get to keep the catch. S/he was immediately harassed by other gulls and dropped the fish.

Lens works great. I've seen them fishing but, Usually for smaller bait fish while the predatory fish rounding them up & pushing them to the surface. Nice work.

Those other gulls were "governmental gulls". It is easier to steal that work to get your own.
