It looks like 5 Trillion of the 8 Trillion Trump incurred was due to C***D. Or maybe you lemmings didn't want to pay for people on unemployment? You really have to ask the Democrats why we are funding g****r studies in Packistan and that kind of BS. That was in the last C***D relief bill. I don't see how it serves to provide relief from C***d but hey, it came from Pelosi's crew so it must be worthwhile right?

Both parties are equally to blame for the overseas spending in allowing them. The governing body for those is the State Dept., so those go in the trump column.

If any of us were as irresponsible with an employer's money as Congress is with ours we'd be out of a job. We've become desensitized to just how big the deficit is.

During economics classes, we always had the debt meter showing. 100% of the class who were horrified by increases during the Obama administration as an offset to the recession have been conspicuously silent during trump. I guarantee they will find their voices again under President Biden’s administration.

Hmmm....it's the House that makes the spending and appropriations bills....so that's back to the Democrats column, especially for an emergency spending (C***D) bill.

I gave both parties the dubious distinctions of ownership for attaching the omnibus bill to the C***d bill. The overseas spending requests are automatically included in the omnibus bill (budget request from all depts including State) so back in trump admin column and pass or face another government shutdown.

Think about what you just posted trump 8 trillion on 4years of which 5 were in the last year.
That means that in the other three years of a booming economy. He was running a trillion a year deficit?!

As long as the federal government uses base line budgeting there will be a deficiency. It means that last year expenditures +an amount for inflation is the base line for the next year.
We need to go to a system ( zero based badgering) that requires all proposed expenditures must be justified each and every year. That does not happen under base line budgeting.

You need to go study the federal government process if passing funding the 13 funding laws. It is not in the least a house issue. Dumb political statement not founded in reality .
