Although it might increase the debt, he has also included plans to get people back to work, which trump never addressed other than to demand that they needed to reopen the economy so that he could win ree******n.

That didn't work out so well for trump, did it?

Biden's plan includes retraining those who've lost their jobs in industries which might never return. It also includes expanding production of desperately needed PPE, which will put more people to work.

Biden will fully emplement the Defense Production Act, which trump only enacted, but never pushed to increase production of the most needed PPE. The DPA will also increase the output of v*****es so that the United States can get more people v******ted, in an effort to reopen the country and work back towards a more normal existence.

trump just announced that he wants a military style send-off at Andrews AFB on the morning of the 20th as he leaves for his permanent vacation in Florida, at least until the authorities arrest him and lock him up. That military style send-off is not likely to happen because so many active duty, reservists, and National Guard military personnel are stationed in DC protecting the Capitol, the Inauguration sites and activities.
Although it might increase the debt, he has also i... (show quote)

Biden's plan...LOL Sure he will. Everybody promises something and they never quite make it. Trump's didn't. Nor did the "hope and change" guy before him.

I don't care where politicians say we need to spend it. Every politician claims they care about the military when e******n time comes around.

Oh my. Sure looks like it. But big pharma has too much influence over both parties so nothing may come of this. Wouldn’t it be great if politicians stood up to them. They’re far too powerful and with so much money at stake they’ll play dirty.

Broken down equipment, barrack buildings that would have been condemned in the civilian world, insufficient and non functional equipment for cold weather exercises....need I go on?

How about the FOBs who often had insufficient supplies because some brainiac bean counter calculated the average number of rounds in a firefight and thats how many got issued? Among other things.

Of course that wasn’t/isn’t the entire military.

When and where please .
Reason I ask is that I was chief engineer at a major air mobility base and those sound more like maintenance or supply management issues rather than issues requiring billions of new equipment purchases that trump hyped.

Forget Trump. And not all were maintenance issues. I’m not stupid.

Forget trump ? that is what started this discussion . The point is the military did not need rebuilding - a phony justification for the annual deficit spending if trump during booming economy.

The only issue that needs rebuilding is the military had a totally incompetent commander in chief for the last 4 years.
