Beautiful scene and I like it with the branch. It's sharp, adds depth and gives a starting point for the eye to follow the river into the scene, IMO.

It's a beautiful scene. I do think it would be nicer without the branches, but unless you are VERY GOOD, cloning them out may cause worse problems.

I have found that out after spending 30 minutes just trying to remove a small portion off the top of the branches!!

Looking over photo albums reminiscing about where we would like to go when the pandemic subsides. This scene was taken a little ways outside Zion N.P. on a gorgeous fall day...would like to return this spring. Was going to remove the branches center bottom then decided I like what they bring to this scene.

Nice image and a beautiful location. I would leave it in. Then I would complain about the branches everytime I looked at the image. Had I posted it here, I would hope that everyone would complain about it. I'd get so frustrated with that image, that I just couldn't be happy until I went back and retook that image without the foreground branches. Then I'd realize that I need to go back several more times until I get just the right lighting. My wife would recognize my OCD taking over so she'd want me out of the house, but my hidden agenda would be to just go and have some fun.
