Thank you very much, Sylvias. I had to shoot really quickly to capture the Spotted Towhee as it was quickly moving through the undergrowth and trees. I was lucky when it jumped out and showed its entire self for this photo. Luckily, the camera had just enough time to focus. It left immediately after this picture. So true, Marg. This bird was hopping through the branches of shrubs and low trees, seldom settling for long. I was lucky that the camera was focused as I snapped off a couple of shots as it hopped out of the shadows. I think there is always a healthy dose of luck in capturing wildlife...especially small birds. Thanks for taking the time to view and comment on my post. Stay healthy and have a good week. jak
