I have been saddened by the f**grant disrespect that we have seen for our f**g over the last few years. When did it become ok to wear an American f**g as an article of clothing? You can purchase American f**g bikinis, boxers, briefs, etc. It is as if Trump supporters decided that our f**g no longer represented the United States of America and it only represented one party. My father fought for that f**g in WWII. I can't even imagine how sad he would be to see that f**g that should represent all Americans made into a political symbol. I am still stunned when I see video of Trump supporters storming our Capitol Buiding waving our f**g and wearing cheap "made in China" garments representing our f**g. Please treat our f**g with the respect that it deserves in honor of all the Americans who lost their lives fighting for that f**g!

Though rarely, if ever enforced, Article 4 U.S. Code § 8 (d) The f**g should never be used as wearing apparel, bedding, or drapery.

This is only a small portion of that subsection but pertinent to your post.

The unfortunate issue is The F**g stands for the freedoms we a blessed with here in The United State. One of those freedoms is speech. The Supreme court has extended that to include "expression". So, The F**g represents the freedom to desecrate The F**g within that freedom of expression.

We live under one f**g representing the national motto: E Pluribus Unum ("From Many One"). Our f**g symbolizes unity. It carries a long history. It flies over the grounds of our schools. Our f**g goes into battle with our American fighting forces. A color guard presents the f**g to the family of a deceased military veteran. We Americans swear allegiance to our f**g in an act of sweeping loyalty. Finally, our f**g evokes patriotism.

For this citizen, the words of Stephen Decatur ring down to this day: "My country, right or wrong."

I am saddened by posts exactly like this post you submitted that posts such lies and made up BS. Did you really get close enough to any of the protestors to be able to determine the clothing worn by the Trump supporters was made in China? Actually, isn't it your side who is all FOR buying articles of anything Made in China? Are you well enough informed to actually be able to tell it is ONLY Trump supporters who are wearing clothing that looks like the American f**g? Here in Liberal Land Southern California I see people of all shapes, sizes and colors wearing American f**g looking clothing of all types, shirts, bandannas, shorts, bathing suits, hats, you name it. But while this is indeed Liberal Land, USA, I would be hard pressed to tell if a person v**ed Republican or Democrat just from their clothing. Most people, those with common sense anyway, would actually talk to someone to determine which side of the political aisle they belong.

So your father fought for freedom in WW2. Congratulations to your family and especially to him. We all owe him and those like him as best a Thank You as we can muster. But let's not forget there were also a HUGE number of Conservatives who fought in both World Wars, Korea, Vietnam and of course the war in the Middle East. Which side was your father on, Conservative or Liberal? Not that it matters. Everyone who fought deserves our honor and respect. Just so you know, my family is pretty much all Conservative thinking. My twin brother and I fought with the USMC in Vietnam. His son, my nephew was in the USMC. My brother's grandson will be graduating USMC boot camp in about a week. Other family members were in the Navy, my father who also fought in WW2 and a brother, in the Army. Uncles in the AAF and Army. Your dad, bless him, is not the only person who fought for freedom.

As for respecting the American F**g, Bob Malarz points out correctly that it is the SCOTUS who made it a freedom of speech to do what we wish with the American f**g. You might recall this came about because your side, the Democratic Liberal side, was burning the American f**g as a protest. Apparently that was acceptable to you, to burn the American f**g that your father fought so hard to protect. Could it be possible you are fighting the wrong people? When Left Wing protestors took over Seattle and Portland did you stand up for their right to protest even though they took over city blocks and protested violently for weeks. I didn't hear any protests from the Left. Did you. When President Trump offered to send in troops to clean up the area the city mayors told him to stay out of it.

But NOW you on the Left find protesting to be bad when it was good for your side. Hmmmmm. A bit late in your protest aren't you?

Were you cheering when the Trump f**g and confederate f**g were put in place of our treasured symbol?

Your first three sentences are on point.

But when you started to blame this trend on trump supporters...you lost me.

F**g based clothing, swimsuits, motorcycle helmets, underwear, etc. is not a new trend.

These items have been in use...I don.t know...30 or 40 years or more.

The f**g was symbolic of one nation under God with liberty and justice for all
We gave God the finger
The lock downs the masks no liberty
We wouldnt hear Trumps case
no justice for all
There is no more America as we know it.
So raise this one and get it over with.

I’m a proud American (sometimes more proud than other times) but I believe in right and wrong. My country right or wrong doesn’t fit with my moral beliefs. When one’s country is wrong, one should attempt to guide it back on trac not defend it. Just my belief, but I believe it very strongly.

I was not cheering for anything that happened at the Capitol building that day. The Trump f**g nor the Confederate f**g have ever bothered me just as Obama emblazoned items more than likely have never bothered you. At least you have never spoken out against such things that I have seen. Now that you ask I do support the Confederate f**g as a historical treasure and have never looked upon it as a sign of r****m.

But apparently you jump on me but not on the poster who apparently was there to notice the clothing labels saying, Made in China. No comments on his apparent BS lies? No comment that f**g inspired clothing has been around since at least the 1960's that I recall? Another Left Wing supporter says something and you fall in line with that BS yet jump on me for pointing out the t***h. Congratulations!!! Here's your Left Wing Badge.

I've been around a long time and I am not blind. I have seen far more d********g uses of our f**g recently amongst the MAGA crowd. Yes, there were instances of inappropriate display of the f**g years ago. Yes, we have a first amendment right to do anything we want with our f**g. All I'm saying is, just because we can doesn't mean we should. You are entitled to your opinion. My opinion is that our f**g should be more than just a fashion statement or a political statement.

No comment on “my country right or wrong”? Your beliefs couldn’t possibly allow you to go along with that.

Trump people need to be deprogrammed, you say. princess you are proving you are caught up in the Left Wing BS. It seems those of you on the Left want the names of Trump supporters taken down so we can be sent to camps to be deprogrammed. You just said that, did you not? Are you noticing Democrats have for some time now wanted and spoken out against the First, Second and Fourth Amendments. Censorship is already taking place on social media. Michelle Obama has already spoken out for some form of censorship. What about Freedom of Speech? Are you a supporter of the U.S. Constitution princess or are you in the Left Wing camp that all of America must be t***sformed to a country that has fewer freedoms than we had before?
