Same here. Car sits in the driveway sometimes a week. The battery was replaced last year but still always running down. I finally removed my Verizon Hum unit from the OBD connector and no more battery problems! I'm cancelling the Hum service. It didn't really do much for me anyway.

The HUM service is a joke!!!I tried it for 3 days and canceled it

I think the MA Attorney General forced the insurance companies to give rebates to the public because folks were driving less. We got a rebate back in Aug. It screwed up our auto bill payments. We thought it was a permanent rebate and reduced the auto payment. However, the rebate was only for one month and they almost cancelled our insurance because the payment was short.

So much for saving money.

My son and I drove less than half as far as we usually do last year. That saved a lot of money on gas. I've been making an effort to drive less. I put a Battery Tender on the battery every week.

Instead of using my car or one of my motorcycles,
I rode my pushbike to the bakery and grocery store today...
and enjoyed it.

I have received two (so far) "rebate" checks from my auto insurance company.. Surprised that other companies are not doing same.

I am with USAA insurance and am retired. I sat down and figured out the milage of both cars since purchased and computed the daily average. Then went online and sent in the numbers. Payment dropped a little over $30.00.

There have been times, during the pandemic, when I have hardly used my car.

During the early summer I was getting 30 days to the gallon from my Audi !

If I exclude my driving to/from Colorado for moving back to Cali, I have driven less than 500 miles since March.

I too have reduced my car mileage this past year, however I ryde my tryke a lot more. 7,500 miles during the first 9 months of last year. The best way for me to get out alone, get fresh air, and see the countryside.

My total mileage for 2020 was almost 5000 miles less than the previous year. The Hartford (through AARP) also gave partial premium rebates for 2 months last spring.

The Hum on my car was useless so I returned it after a very short time. After coming home from a trip to Mississippi with my car sitting in my garage in southern Illinois the Hum was showing my car to be in Tennessee.
