Garmin has introduced a new GPS - The Navigator. It measures 10", and it's intended for motorhomes. I wonder how that would work in my Honda Fit.

Fine as long as you can look over it.

Ever hear of a road map ? Folded, they measure approximately 3”x6”, and fit nicely in your glove box.

Maps don't work in Houston, they build new highways every day...however Google doesn't either.

This reminds me of when I was still working at Ford Engineering Center. While working on a large comfortable vehicle for "mature" people they came up with a larger radio with larger readouts, buttons, and dials. The design team dub this "special" radio as the "My First Radio" by Fisher Price because it had that appearance.

Oughta work great as long as you can look over or around it. Just purchased it so that I can see it easier with my distance glasses.

But they don't talk.

Funny. Maybe Fisher Price should design a car for "people in need."

Funny. I've been in construction zones on Interstates where the northbound lane was closed, and I had to drive north in the southbound lane. The GPS told me I was driving in the wrong lane.

I got an email from Garmin about this GPS. Did you see how much it cost? Pricey at $699.99.

It will work no better than a GPS app on your cell phone.

I use Google Maps for everything and it's free and always with me on my iPhone.
