Some years ago I rode down to Monterrey, Mexico. Before I got halfway there, I "went down" and broke my windshield. By the time I got to Laredo, I was an awful mess. Had a patchwork leather jacket and the seams sure caught the bugs. Horrible.

Roger that, I put my windshield on a couple of weeks ago due to the cold weather. I still ride here in Korea when it it is below freezing. Last winter was so mild I did use it but this year is much colder like a few years ago.

Thinking about bugs and Texas. Yup, many times I've been covered with moths and mosquitoes. It never happened to me but a swarm of Texas June bugs would be a mess.

My comfort limit without a windshield is 40 but I wouldn't recommend it to anyone who isn't used to it. :-)
