Good one Voss.
What state (no helmet) ?
You're lucky they didn't pull over and kick your a__. Nice shot!
P.S. Arizona has no helmet law and I'm sure there are other states. Law-breaking is also an option!

Thanks, Ken. It's Texas. The last I heard, which was a while ago, adults didn't need them. (They have harder heads?)

Thanks,, AZNikon. I figured they'd be too busy concentrating on their turn to see me there.

Many years ago when I was living in California I took a motorcycle trip and happened to wind up at South Lake Tahoe. I was on the Nevada side and wanted to get to the other side of Hwy 50. At the time California didn't have a helmet law so not thinking about it I got on my bike and proceeded to go across the road without putting the helmet on. However, turned out that Nevada has a helmet law which I wasn't aware of. I didn't get a quarter of a mile down the road when I was pulled over by an NHP trooper. Since I had the helmet hanging off the back of my bike he just gave me a warning and told me to put the helmet on.
Thanks, waegwan. I've never used a fairing--I think they're too ugly. But windshields can be nice, especially the small ones. They do a nice job of keeping the bugs off your clothing and helmet. Some years ago I rode down to Monterrey, Mexico. Before I got halfway there, I "went down" and broke my windshield. By the time I got to Laredo, I was an awful mess. Had a patchwork leather jacket and the seams sure caught the bugs. Horrible.
