Great list. May I have permission to copy and paste to some friends of mine?
It's on the internet, free for the taking!
Please do.

My first resolution is to take fewer, but BETTER photos.
My second is to TRY to learn processing (something I really fumble at)
It's not a contest / game based on how few strokes you take, but rather, how far does the ball travel for all the hits you make.

As we look back and consider 2020, how did your photography change? We probably all made less trips. Did you visit / revisit new subjects closer to home? Did you change your camera bodies or focal lengths? What changes will you make for 2021?
What is a resolution?
A firm decision to do or not to do something.
Will you learn to better use your current equipment?
Will you learn your processing software?
Will you organize your legacy images?
Will you organize your new images?
Will you sell your unused and outdated equipment?
Will you ask for help?
Will you answer a request for help?
Will you use selective focus with an off-center AF point placed specifically on the subject?
Will you investigate higher ISOs?
Will you use your flash?
Will you use your tripod?
Will you try Back Button Focus?
Will you change to mirroless?
Will you create an image over the next 365 days that achieves your resolution?

I answer YES to most. BBF-maybe not 😊
Thank you for the list. Will review it from time to time in 2021.
no photography resolutions for me! life has a way of getting in the way of resolutions.
I resolve to get out more and just have fun with the camera!!
I am constantly learning, retaining is a different story. I have many photographic interests from shooting with different camera bodies, learning off camera flash, taking bird photos, to post processing. I have two camera bodies and lenses coming from lensrentals.com tomorrow to try out for a week. I have downloaded photography courses and read this forum daily. When I do travel, hopefully, I will retain what I have learned and will have great photos too.
I don't understand the "change to mirrorless" resolution. I would probably choose mirrorless if I were just starting out purchasing equipment. But why I should I switch from my Canon DSLR? From what I understand somewhat less weight and bulk are the benefits? But I can handle what I have now. Is there something I am missing? Genuinely curious -- not trying to start an argument. Thanks for any answers.
You made me look at it realistically, so I will keep doing what I'm doing.

If you’re happy with your DSLR that’s great. I’m still very happy with my Nikon D500. I’m also very happy with my Nikon Z7 and my Pabb no a sonic G9, and while they are smaller and lighter those are the benefits that are less important to me. Things like IBIS, focus peaking, the ability to see exposure adjustments in real-time are some of what I find more compelling.
I will spend absolutely no money on new equipment--I can't use what I have to it's limits.
