I completely agree with that! xxxooo

I have a long list of restaurants that I want to visit when this is all over. Then someone else will cook and clean!

Good evening it is now 00:28hrs on Monday morning, so I am going to bed, to try to get some sleep. It is still quite warm, so not really the best for sleeping, and I am really missing my Evaporative cooler, but it stopped working; and it cost a fortune to replace, although I am going to try to convince him that it would workout much better for us, if we got it replaced, but perhaps have a smaller unit replacing the huge one that was originally put in; if that is at all possible! Anyway, that is a conversation I will have to tackle at another time, I don't think it is quite the right time, yet!

On that note, I will now say Goodnight, mainly because my hands have begun to type in their own way, and if I keep going, nobody will understand what I have typed! 🤣😂🤣 xoxoxo

Oh no! With the temperatures that you hit, you need all the cooling you can get.
So your hands are trying to type like Purple's typolitis
Sleep well Judi

I'm home from S and S with my groceries. I've got them unpacked and a couple of hours, doing sudoku. I called in at Alberts but I had no flowers. I emptied his base. It's got to be said that the crem is a lovely pretty place but it's cool even in summer but today it was nithering. S and S had some flowers and we're going to see sues mam and they were calling in to dads to put flowers for him. He's got yellow roses this week.

Still haven't heard from Wendy, she must be very poorly or maybe I've done something wrong. Stephen doesn't seem to know. But I just get a strange feeling people aren't being honest here.

It's so nice to be in my own bed so I think I'll not go anymore until Christmas. Between you and me I think I'm getting on their nerves a bit talking while the TVs on. Well, 1. I have no one to talk to at home, and 2. I think it's bad manners to watch the TVs when you've got company. They just seem to watch some flipping tripe....that's today's moan. Hahaha

It's jigsaw time coming up, so I'll catch up and love you all.. X

Just speaking for myself, I really prefer not to eat the same meal two days running, occasionally freeze some leftovers but generally cook for just two!!! I hope you're going to model that balaclava, when it's done!! xxxxx

That is one of the reasons that I don't like big turkeys for Christmas and Thanksgiving. Two days in a row is bad enough, then there are the leftovers that get frozen and eventually it is just too much turkey.

Our vaccination time has been delayed, due to a problem with one that was being developed at a facility in QLD, and it has been totally discarded; so we probably won't have an alternate Vaccine until sometime next year. There are others that have been purchased from a couple of other countries, but there has been no date of arrival, for any of those, so we just play a waiting game! 😮🙄😐🙄😣 xoxoxo

So long as you can keep your numbers down, you can wait until vaccines are ready. Our numbers are rising higher than projected. What measures can be taken beyond lockdown? There is some talk of curfew.

Actually chili tastes better the second day. We will have the leftovers for supper. At noon I usually make a fresh meal and have leftover from the day before for supper. As today is Sunday I will make something sweet. Just not sure what it will be. I guess when I get to the kitchen I will surprise myself when I decide what this weeks sweet treat will be.
Yesterday I finished a headband with bulky weight yarn. I had issues with splitty yarn and a poorly written pattern, but it is done and looks good. So a success. I often use two strands of WW which is suppose to be bulky but, for me is easier to work with than actual bulky. For the toys you make I think using DK weight adds to their appeal. Hope your balaclava turns out to be the right size.

There is a chili recipe that is popular up here that requires the crock pot to keep running for 3 days. I've never tried making it. But friends that have, say it is the best chili ever.
I bought a straight sided glass dish for my Instant Pot so I can make a dump cake in it. I have strawberry pie filling and golden cake.
I have an easy shrug pattern that calls for bulky that I was considering using 2 strands of WW. I need more WW. I may need to do a squishy mail order. My LYS is a little limited on colours in WW. Unless I want to use James Brett Marble multicolour.

That is strange, because we had a very dull, dark day also; the sky was a really weird darkish grey, which I have never seen here, previously! We also got a little rain from it, not nearly enough though! xoxoxo

Weird darkish gray is normal here. It only gets lighter when it is about to snow.

I don't think I have had my hair cut, since before last Christmas, and I think it was a few months before that also, and it is below my shoulders now! I probably won't get a cut again, until sometime next year! xoxoxo

I had DD cut my hair straight across during the first wave. I probably need it cut again too.

Couldn't you have made enough chilli for two days, not sure it keeps not having ever made it. I made enough sausage casserole for two days today. Yes I finished my mitt and have started on another balaclava, gone up to aran yarn and a size bigger needles to see what size it turns out at, hopefully a man's size. xx

What pattern are you using for the balaclava? I could use one of those.

No, we haven't heard much about how they're going either, certainly no invitation for DH yet!! I spent most of yesterday sewing up the afghan, if I don't keep at it, I will lose the momentum and it will never be finished!!! xxxx

We heard that 2 people in UK went into anaphylatic shock, but they had pre-existing allergies, and were allergic to the flu shot too. The people giving the vaccines were prepared and administered the proper shot immediately and those people are fine now.
Keep going on the afghan. You can do it.

Steak and onions sounds tasty. For the pastry I could use the roll of biscuits I have in the fridge. My life has become a bit boring when the highlight is figuring out what to make for dinner.

My highlight is coming on here. I don't get to choose my menu most days.
