We moved to a retirement community and our apartment is small so we put our christmas tree on the patio and can see it through the glass door to the patio. We have a hummingbird that has taken residence on our deck and so we put some finger ring hummingbird feeders on the tree branches hoping the hummingbird would come for a drink. Well, here he is, our live tree ornament! RJW

Christmas wonder! Lovely

OM"G Larry all the same shape of pieces!! WOW. Tell her good job!!

Yeah, a lot of them sure looked the same to me, and a lot with the same color, or very little change in color. That's when I said "It's all yours babe!"

Dee and I took a little drive around the neighborhood we live in to see the lights and out door decoration put up. I didn't get any really good shots to be proud of. So if they're not any good you are allowed to play around and mess with them all you want, right. Rule #76, I think, anyway this is my way of getting around to say.....

... a very Merry Christmas to all my good friends here on the Ugly Hedge Hog

Oh, Larry...Dee had a virus or THE virus? How I'd love some of that brittle and Dee's bread. I love popcorn too.

Yes, it was The Virus. Our Dr. entered her into an Eli Lily clinical study where they were testing one anti viral drug, or combined mix of that with another. One IV of either anti viral, or possibly a placebo. She was feeling much better in 5 days so they are pretty sure she got some of the real juice and not a placebo. She is being paid nicely, so I’m looking for more clinical studies to get her into🌝❗️

There are a number of twists to our holidays this year. Our son can't come home (he lives in a group home) so we ... loaded up. Once unloaded, he told us we could leave! This year I made a special breakfast casserole he loves for his staff and roommates for Christmas morning. I have never done that before. Hope to FaceTime tomorrow - which will also be a "twist".

This was a real twist - Our Christmas Eve service as a "drive-in" in the church parking lot. Covid guidelines meant more people could attend in cars - just like a drive in theater. Simultaneously broadcast over FM on car radios. Very windy and anticipating a storm overnight with 50-60 MPH winds - still a great turnout and a bright spot in the pandemic. Some traditions must go on for mental health and normalcy. It's one Christmas Eve I'll never forget.

Blessed for sure👌🌝

Tonight's Christmas eve dinner...only the 2 of us!

We usually have a traditional meal with the whole family consisting of grilled shrimp, and steak. But with only 3 of us together this year we opted for a stir fried shrimp dish. Do you know there are over 7000 recipes on the internet for stir fried shrimp. Glad Dee picked a good one, it was delicious😋‼️
