Can someone tell me what the marking on the D610 box means when it's marked NIKON KR instead of NIKON US?
Thanks for the help.

Do you have the instructions and User’s Manual in Korean?

I have 2 manuals. One in English and another one, which I have no idea. Could be Korean..

If you live in the US you need the USA model. If anything goes wrong with the camera Nikon USA will not fix it unless it is a US model...even if you offer to pay for it.

I believe Canon has a similar policy.

Oh...you already purchased it. Hopefully nothing will ever go wrong with it.

I purchased a Canon camera recently. I would like to say, it is vintage. On the side of the box, there was a large letter “J”. It came with a manual in Japanese I think. No matter, I downloaded the English version of the manual. If it needs repair, I will be paying out of pocket.

Like I said, I have both copies of the manual. I'm just concerned that I won't be able to get it repaired, if anything goes wrong. Or will I have a problem if I go to sell it?

Repairs are either by yourself or through a repair company.

If the serial number on the bottom starts with 3 then it's a US model, if not......not US. chase

That is a myth. Google it.
