We had a quiet day. But the house surely smelled good. Like you, Lorima, many of my dishes, serving pieces and foods are generational. With just the 2 of us, I didn't get everything out, but served ourselves from the stove (my mother just rolled over in her grave hearing that!)

Nice to see those blue/white dishes...I got mine out too!

Wishing you all a very Happy Thanksgiving with many memories to see you through the tougher times. If you are familiar with the British comedy series "Mr. Bean" you likely remember this episode. We re- created it, thanks to photoshop, today. It's my husband's favorite episode. The other 2 pix - Happy Thanksgiving from us.

Last one gets the vote! Funny!

Great, Pat, great.

This Challenge sure brings back fond memories. Up here, well around here anyway Thanksgiving is not all that celebrated. Wonder how it would be in Salem, MA.

We did take a quick ride to our daughter's. They met us at the door....the youngest was so happy to see "P". Our daughter said he had been rather quiet all day (we are usually together) and when he saw our car, he was soooo happy. Didn't stay long - had birthday gifts for our son in law.

The youngest made pie in school and gave some to "P" - chocolate cream, "P"'s favorite.

Oh how much fun. I think a lot of family would be doing Zoon gatherings over the holidays. There were only 4 of us so I didn't fix to much either. Love you toy Turkey.

Hope that you stay in remission for a long time, Lorima, and that you don't have to undergo any more chimo. You seem to have a courageous spirit and I wish you well moving forward. Great initiative on the subject challenge. I'm sure that it will generate lots of interesting feedback. Good images to start the ball rolling. Please continue to share when you feel up to it.
