After processing these, my next step was to thoroughly clean the two layers of window glass between me and the feeder, but wonder if that was the only reason some of these look soft or grainy. Taken with manually focused D-7000 with an 80-200 F2.8, shutter priority, ISO 2500-3200 with high ISO setting on. Poor focus, underexposure or something else?
The colors are nice. For the first of the examples, it looks like the focus was misplaced on the feeder rather than the bird, contributing to the softness of the bird in this image at f/2.8. I looked at the LR parameters from the final image. The Sharpening and Noise reduction values appear to be the LR defaults, where some specific adjustments to each image should help in the final result. Short depth of field associated with using f2.8 is exacerbated by location of focus point, and the information from CHG Canon will help you a lot. Please stay well and keep on sharing.
