I must thank everyone for their welcome. I am skilled in many trades and crafts and use my camera to share ideas and methods. The movie feature on the modern camera is wonderfully useful. Someone may ask how to,
and a reply can be put together in 30 minutes and send along the way.

(I like not having to buy 20 rolls of film and get them developed after a trip.)

I miss containers they come with...

When I first started with a Kodak Box camera 620 film 12 exposures to the roll. I might well have snow storm pictures and spring flowers on the same B&W roll. Today I can take a picture and send it half way around the world before the flames have died down. I shoot with a Nikon D5600 with a variety of lens options. I have been trying to improve my work for more than 70 years.

Welcome Nathaniel. I went digital in 2005 and have never looked back, not one shot.

The good old days to me started in Dec 2005 with my digital D50. All my film cameras for 30 years past were instantly relegated to storage boxes. Never even got the last three used rolls developed.

I don't miss it one bit. I still enjoy my darkroom time. I shoot 35mm, 120, and 4x5. I'm awaiting the arrival of one filter and then it's play with film time.
