Kinda morbid to have this over a grave, wouldn't you think? I rather have the "Angel of Happy Times and Celebrations Coming in Heaven".......

Yes, I would have to agree!!! I actually entered a contest with this. The contest theme was "scary" I'll see how it turns out. Here's the final product:
Thanks for the discussion

From a photographer's view, that red rose was a perfect addition. But it's still creepy...ha

That flower bunch was in my original picture, although not as obvious. I just didn't include it in the editing. And yes...still very creepy, yet some how beautiful in its artistry.

I think that red flower bunch would get you more points from the judges. I see them do that frequently during the print competition meetings I've attended. It becomes an "accent"

Thanks Tom, hopefully it will help. It just made sense to me...you know, life and death. The rose was starting to wilt and the leaves shrivel..very appropriate. I actually just reposted the edited version because of several questions about the sculpture and thought I'd answer those in the post. I have thoroughly enjoyed this discussion. Thank you

I visited Cleveland around 2003. My son was in his HS marching band and there was a Band competition in Massillon one Fall weekend. During one of their practice breaks, we went to the R&R Hall of Fame. That was an awesome museum. I did not know some of those groups were good enough to make the Hall. It started sleeting and snowing the day that we left and I was kinda glad to be on the road back to warmer NC, :)

Yea, we aren't necessarily for our great fall weather!
