Great car! Brings back a lot of memories - a guy I went to college with was almost expelled for being a 409 fanatic! Long story.

On the final approach to dinner - last of the cooking, then the eating. I'll PM you later. Though not in the same class, I have a '79 Scottsdale C 20 3/4 ton Ranch pickup I've been working on for a couple of years. Still has to be the Ranch truck, so will never be a show piece.

It has always amazed me that Chevy produced the ugliest cars for three years running then they came up with the 61. I was always partial to the bubble top, but the drop top is right there with it. This is a really beautiful example.

First, YES I like them, a beautiful car.
Second, my first car was a 57 Belair four door hardtop with a 283 and a 4 barrel. I wish I still had it! I traded it in for a Chevy II. After I graduated from college, I traded it in for at 67 Chevy Malibu (I also wish I still had it).
Anyway, your Impala SS is really beautiful. Don't ever sell it!
