Using 'scripts' in photoshop

I have used scripts with my canon cameras CR2 raw images for years Now that Canons raw files for all their new cameras are CR3 the program will not work corrrectly. First I make a folder of images to 'fix' then open photoshop, choose the folder and check the box labeled "open first photo to make correction" then choose run
The first image should open in CAMERA RAW where I usually check auto, then add clarity, vibrance and saturation to replace the colors lost in converting go raw. I have perhaps a thousand images that need to be processed so opening each one is terribly time consuming. Yes I have talked to Adobe three different times. they do not get back to me with a fix.
Help I REALLY NEED MY SCRIPTS TO WORK

Did you try all of the ideas suggested in your prior post on this same issue? https://www.uglyhedgehog.com/t-670421-1.html

LR is the high-volume editor allowing the same or consistent change to be made to one or multiple images, all with a few keystrokes or via a preset. Given LR is part of your subscription, have you investigated the capabilities of this mass-processing tool?

Yes LR preset on import and/or simply edit one and use sync function to do all the others. Then he can toss his script(s). Of course there is the education curve for LR but you get a ton of other functions.

No need for a script. In ACR, open the images you wish to process, pick one and adjust your settings, then sync all.
