My wife gives me a buzz cut with the pro clipper I bought years ago.

My wife had great success with the Flowbee - on herself, not me. I have wireless clippers for the dog, but he doesn't complain about the results.

Jerry, have you tried the gadget that hooks to your vacuum cleaner and pulls your hair up and cuts it? We have an engineer at work who has used it for years, his hair actually look pretty good, and he calculated that he has saved $2,800 so far.

Is that the “Flo-bee” or something like that? Used to see it advertised on TV...another Ron Popeil gadget.

The only place I have any noticeable hair left is my eyebrows, I use a clipper to mow the top!

I have been contemplating shaving the noggin. Don’t have much up there anyway.

I haven't cut my hair since December, but it hardly matters. When I go out, I wear a hat. I've been cutting my own hair for as long as I can remember, with professional tune-ups about once a year.

I've always wondered how you could afford the 23 computers you have (and actually 3 work most of the time). Maybe I'll let my hair grow.

Don't forget the two hair stylists in Springfield MO, both infected with Covid-19, who saw 139 clients before they realized that their symptoms were Covid. Both wore masks, all 139 clients wore masks, and no one became infected.

With both persons masked there is only a 5% rate of transmission.

Do I want a barber breathing down my neck two feet away (during the pandemic) after he's done the same to 12 other customers that day? I THINK NOT. Gave myself a "butch" and enjoy the freedom from bed-hair and freedom to roll down the car windows and not having to comb my hair everytime ti put on a T-shirt. New life-time change!

I agree with you, but I just ask for the first appointment of the day. That way, any residual from the previous day that they may have missed in cleaning probably didn't survive on surfaces overnight. It's not fool proof, but every bit of caution helps.

I've been cutting my own hair for six years so Covid did not have any effect on that part of my life.

I am sorry to hear that some folks are still cowering in fear. Life is full of risks and nobody gets out alive. Some of the biggest risks we take in life often represent our biggest achievements and pleasures.

My 95 year old mother in law is out and about and participating in life. She plays golf, bridge and visits with friends. During COVID she had to make extensive repairs to her home that involved the presence construction people in her home. She is facing life with courage and vigor as is her character. She is a tough old bird. She faced hardships far worse than the present one in her young life on the plains of Western Canada.

In my county there are only about 10 people who have died from COVID who were not confined to a long term facility. The general health status of these folks is unknown but likely rather poor. Life here is close to normal as are my activities.

I had a bootleg haircut during the shutdown in my barn - ventilation is great in there. As I live very close to Ohio, I had haircuts in a barbershop there as soon as possible. I have become a generous tipper.

Must be a VERY small county and you should stay there, because the rest of the country is approaching 1/4 million deaths. And this is exactly the BS macho uninformed crap that has allowed this country to get to the point we’re at, where we’re beginning to exceed the peak numbers from the summer and one state to actually shut down again. I have had two friends die already. PLEASE everyone, ignore this BS. Wear masks, maintain social distance outside your “pod”, avoid groups and wash your hands regularly and thoroughly. That’s all we have until a vaccine becomes available. Remember, this is a medical problem, not a political one. Get your information from medical professionals, not social media or politicians.

Sad to see you use a light-hearted chat about haircuts to insult people by calling them cowards....
