Wonderful closeups!! In Montana, I don’t believe you could get that close to them unless you were using a long lens. They are pretty skiddish now that hunting season is in full swing.

Thanks Dennis. They are in a 546 acre county park. A few mile long road winds thru the park. Semi-wild or semi-tame,whichever you want to call them. They do hurt a few folks each year who try to get too close. Shot with a 100-400mm lens and some cropping on full frame camera. I doubt I could ever get anywhere close to a wild one to get these shots.

Thanks all for the nice comments. JRiepe, they also have some Bisen in the park, but they were not very photogenic in our time there.
