I was about to say that as a photo site that's been around for a long time, designed for discussing photography issues, one would be hard pressed to find any photography issue that has not been brought and discussed ad infinitum. The more interesting and controversial, the more threads and pages.
Not sure I recall this one though. I had to look up Crepuscular Rays. Seems they are the same thing though, am I wrong?
I was at school yesterday (physics with high school freshmen), introducing them to motion in two dimensions. We were talking about how motion really requires at least two dimensions to be interesting (like throwing a baseball or shooting a gun), rather than in one dimension (like falling off a bridge). The discussion somehow got around to one dimensional people (it was Friday, OK?). I'll not carry the discussion any further here, but will leave to your own imagination where it went and how it might be pertinent to this thread.

Speaking of one-dimensional people, have you or they read "Flatland" by Edwin Abbott Abbott? It is a romance set in a two-dmensional world, where women are lines and men are polygons. Just a thought...
When I was a kid I remember going into a gas station to buy some candy bars, the clerk said 5 cents each or 3 for a quarter. I said what? Ok I’ll take 3 for 5 cents each. He laughed, said “you would be surprised at how many people fall for that”.
Ok I also dated myself. LOL. Yes candy bars were 5 cents each a long time ago. But they were a lot bigger then so that makes up for it.

I read it in high school when I was taking my trigonometry class. I don't remember the details but it must have made a good impression since I still remember it.
