Thank you everyone. I only hope my photos were able to capture a little of the special ceremony.
It is so grateful to see these wonderful photos of interment at Arlington. Have been to many ceremonies around our country for our heroes. None is done better than that at Arlington. Mahalo for sharing.
Very impressive presentation. I have no direct experience with it but I watched a movie on Netflix called "Taking Chance" on the whole process of the returning and burying fallen heroes. It was recommended by Gen John Kelly, former white house chief of staff who himself is a gold star parent. It's a very moving film starring Kevin Bacon who was assigned to accompany the remains of a young marine named Chance from his arrival in Germany from Afghanistan to his final resting place in rural Wyoming. Well worth watching.
Great pictures especially the B&W, my dad had a military funeral, it's a great tribute, more people should turn out to see them

I had the opportunity to go to a dear friend’s interment at Arlington Cemetery. It was a sight to behold. The Honor Guard took such care and performed their duties with such precision and respect for my friend. I wish all Veterans received such respect while they are still living.
Well done! The b&w set does evoke emotions in this old vet. Thanx for sharing.
Thanks everyone. To all you Vets and your families: thank you for your service.
