I love the parkway. I am in NC and the section I was at is near Blowing Rock, NC. Fall is my favorite time there. I usually dont get up there till its almost too late for the leaves and I think I jumped the gun and got there a bit too early. I may try again in a week or two.
We will be there next week in Blowing Rock. Did you visit any waterfalls? Any recomendations for waterfalls? I also plan on shooting the Linn Cove Viaduct.

I did not visit any waterfalls. Linville Falls is a good place to go for waterfalls. I haven't been there in years though. You do have to hike a bit to get to it. Have fun! The fall colors sbould be starting to reach their peak then.
