Photoshop Elements, ACR. D7000 raw file, Adobe color space. Where might one find what the ACR Camera Profile setting differences are between Camera Standard and Camera Landscape?

Thank you.

An interesting question! Until a couple of weeks ago I'd totally forgotten about those profile settings.

See: https://helpx.adobe.com/photoshop-elements/using/processing-camera-raw-image-files.html

It sounds to me like you'd have to check your camera manual for information between those two profiles. Your camera, and my Panasonic G7 are both in the supported list (another link in the above article), so ACR is just following the camera's instructions (I think).

Hopefully, someone else can enlighten further.

Start on page 132 of your camera's user manual, Selecting a Picture Control. The following page talks about modifying those pre-sets. Perhaps by comparing where the sliders are, you can tell the differences between standard and landscape.

I can see sharpening, contrast, brightness, saturation and hue in the little image on that page

Linda, you are the best! You’’re always willing to help where you can, and you NEVER just muscle your way in to push your own agenda. I think it’s the Downeaster in you.

Be well.

Yes, I read it all, and have before. I was hoping for a side-by-side list ACR setting for each. Plus, just looking at the sliders among the settings does not seem to fill the bill. I suspect algorithms, perhaps proprietary.

The reason for my question originated from experimentation with ACR's Camera Landscape vs. Adobe Standard, and the others. I "do" a lot of landscape-sorts, and use it, but find it also presumptive, and wanted to finesse it but with the knowledge of just what was happening.

Thanks much.

OK, thank you. I understand about sometimes wanting to know what's going on behind the scenes
