Unfortunately, it failed. But I was able to get a few interesting shot. Well, at least interesting to me. If anyone knows what the red bird is, I'd appreciate knowing. It's about the size of a robin.

Wonderful set of images. The flower images were particularly attractive to me.

What camera repair? They all look nice to me but the exposure seems a little off.

Thanks, Jerry. There weren't many, but what was there was pretty nice.

The camera had lots of issues. Canon said it needed a new main board. Guess what. It still doesn't meter correctly and sometimes not at all. It still shuts down and I have to reinsert the battery to start it again. And now the controller button doesn't work properly! More repair. And likely another month's pay!!!!! Exposure was only one problem. That seems worse now.

Even with a malfunctioning camera, you managed to get some really nice photos.

Great shots Kathy, I would love to see this with a fully functioning camera - you did very well!

Even when it malfunctions, it has a lot of nice features. Like 14 frames a second! When I'm trying to shoot birds, that's a real plus.

Hey, thanks so much for the link. The song it provided didn't sound like my bird. But then, he sort of chirped instead of singing. And I can't tell on that website how large the birds are. The tanagers I've seen are a lot smaller than the bird I saw.

Click on the ID Info tab and scroll down, they have a size chart - says it is between a sparrow and robin in size.
