Beautiful house of worship, inside and out! Well captured, thanks for sharing.
Very fine job capturing this impressive architecture!
That's a lovely building, and your images of it are quite nice. Kudos.

St Giles’ Cathedral, the High Kirk of Edinburgh positioned at the heart of the Scottish capital. St Giles’ was founded in 1124, and in the 16th century became the focal point of the Scottish Reformation. The church is regarded as the Mother Church of World Presbyterianism and welcomes visitors from all corners of the globe. The current building was begun in the 14th century and extended until the early 16th century; significant alterations were undertaken in the 19th and 20th centuries, including the addition of the Thistle Chapel.

Now catching up on responses after sleeping:
jaymatt, thank you very much. I put together a couple of sentences from the web for the narrative.

Bob, thanks for the thumbs up. I enjoy receiving those.
Raymond, thanks also for you nice comments.
angler, I’m glad you liked it.
AzPicLady, thank you very much. I’ve enjoyed many of your sets, too.
Saigon, thanks. I’m glad you liked my pictures of it.
Thanks for sharing your photos. We were there last August but due to the Fringe crowd we didn’t get any interior photos. We did get to the Tattoo, which was spectacular, but we missed your opportunity for St. Giles. Edinburgh is such a wonderful photo venue. Nice photos.

These are fantastic.... beautiful
Earnest and crafter, I do appreciate your comments. I'm glad you liked them.
Great set of images. I am always amazed about how the people, with nothing but hand tools and brute force, managed to construct such incredible structures.

Thanks for sharing your experiences.
The beauty of the experience in all of its variations
can not be understated.
Sometimes the quest for new and shiny is not
the best road to take.
The joy and the work of the many craftsmen
withstands the test of time.
You have done them justice in carrying their
work forward to out time.
Thanks again.
David
Excellent set of images. You have a real talent for casting significant architectural features as compelling photographic images. Subject matter, composition, lighting are always spot on. Question on the side. How do you manage to always exceed the 10 image limit the rest of us are mercilessly held to.
