Good morning. I'm off to the local hospital in a couple of hours for a covid test as I am having a colonoscopy there on Thursday and they need to make sure I'm covid free. I'm not too worried about it, but there's that little niggling "do I have it?" question going on. I wouldn't even bother with the colonoscopy at this time but given my history of precancerous polyps, I'm going to do it. It's already six months later than I should have had it. Visibility outside is much, much better this morning but still not completely gone. Will be masking up as usual. The gal who scheduled my appointment said the test won't be as invasive as they started out being, meaning that they won't put the swab in my nose up to my brain, just part way up my sinuses. That's my excitement for the day. Not much else planned. I hope all of you have a great day/afternoon/evening. xxxooo

Awww, bless you, will be thinking of you! My optician, that I saw on Thursday, has the same thing as he is having a procedure shortly. They were sending the kit to his work and so he was going to get one of the receptionists to do it!! I think if anything is going up my nose, I would want me on the end of it or if not, a medical professional!! I'm sure your test will be negative but if not, at least you will know so you can get some help. Fingers crossed all is well though!! xxxxxxxx

I was right in there!! I saw them live once when I was 14 and they weren't even top of the bill then. Didn't hear any of the music for the screaming - yes I was screaming too!! They closed the first half and I don't think any of us little girls stayed for Tommy Roe and Chris Montez after that, we were all rushing outside to see if we could spot the Beatles. They appeared at a window and threw out loads of pictures, I got one and still have it but sadly, it wasn't signed. Such an amazing time, I can still remember the thrill of being there!!

Shhh! Don't tell a soul, but I still have the picture I drew of Marty Wilde, which he signed for me when I was 17.

Good morning. A beautiful sunny morning here. Not much planned for today. Finally finished a shawl last night that I started about 4-1/2 years ago. I only had about 10 rows to go (but very long rows -- when it ended it has 749 stitches). It looks like a blob now, but will wait until we're back in Arizona to block it as I don't have the room here to do that. What a relief, though, to finally have that WIP finished! The pattern is Spring Wood Shawl, https://www.ravelry.com/patterns/library/spring-wood-shawl. Required a lot of concentration. Haven't finished it until now as life and other projects got in the way. xxxooo

So, I forgot to take before and after pictures so this is, cleaned and not cleaned. Not quite the sparkling miracle I had hoped for but hopefully a bit less slippy come the winter!! Too hot to be out there scrubbing the rest of it today, maybe tomorrow!! 😁

At least you can see some improvement and you know they'll be safer. xxxx

Does that mean you're going to get some more, I paid about £15 for 10 so pretty cheap too. xxxx
