Beautiful place, isn’t it?
The photographs are magnificent with the #3 download being my personal favorite. But here I am sitting up in our bed in rural Merlin, OR, it’s coming up to 5am, and I have got lost in thought. It’s such a wonderful location, such a majestic scene of nature’s ability over millions of years to create an awesome place. And that still doesn’t do The Grand Canyon justice. Sorry! I’m thinking aloud!

Excellent set! I like your use of 'framing' the subject. The 3rd, I like with the river...
#2 is my favorite also. It shows the depth and magnitude of the canyon, but well framed. Do, do the hike down. BUT be in VERY good shape. Coming up is not a piece of cake.
Nice-------------

As they warn- the hike down is optional, the hike up is mandatory!
Yes! I truly remember. My brother (Older than me) wanted to show off his good form. I lost decisively!
Great Shots: "Out of there by 2:00" implies you were in a hurry, but (just my opinion and not meant to get in a P---ing contest). for me, you have to take your time and let the awesome beauty of that place soak into your soul.

No, I was on a tight schedule. Had a Tee time down in Sedona for later that afternoon. Plus, I saw/did everything I wanted to do.
Very nice photos. Haven't been there for many years, but planning a trip in 2021...hopefully, if the virus is over. I noticed a fair amount of haze in you photos, probably from the fires in Calif. But, if you have PhotoShop Elements, you may be surprised what "Auto Haze Removal"
(under Enhance on your tool bar) will do with the haze. Admittedly, it increases contrast a bit, but overall, I think it will really make the photos pop with the haze lessened. Give it a try, and let me know if you liked it.
Beautiful set. We where there 7 yrs ago and when I look at my pictures they are nice but no picture will ever be as nice as seeing it in person.
