I had the pleasure of seeing it in person for the first time last week. Fired off plenty of shots, hiked down and back 6 miles and walked 4 miles round trip around the rim. Had lunch and was out of there by 2:00.

Interesting how personal choice varies. My preferred one is no. 2 by a great stretch

Thanks. Did you notice the person standing on the edge of the cliff?

I like them all. But prefer #2 due to the trees anchoring the shot.

I hope to visit there soon.

Of the 150 or so shots I took, #2 is my favorite also.

You got a bunch of great shots of this glorious canyon. My favorite in all the world. I love the shot with the Colorado River in the bottom.

Hard to beat for color, beauty, and awe all at the same time.

They're all very nice but my favorite is #3 because of the Colorado River. I've been there three times but never attempted the six mile hike and I'm getting too old to attempt it now.

If I ever make it there again and I'm still in relatively good shape, I plan to hike the 12 miles down to Phantom Ranch.

I wouldn't mind hiking down. It's the back up that would concern me.

As they warn- the hike down is optional, the hike up is mandatory!

Haven't seen a vote for #4 yet, so I'll cast my vote there. Good set, but the greater contrast in #4 is what I like.
