Welcome to the forum, Happy. On cameras, you will get lots of opinions on the forum. Best thing is to learn the terms and do your own research. B&Hphoto.com is a great source for tech data and reviews. dpreview.com tests cameras and lenses and reports there findings, and there are all kinds of other on-line reviews and videos. There is no perfect camera and most all can produce amazing results. Good lenses are critical so save money for those too. Good luck and have fun.

Hi, and welcome. You'll get many opinions. Suggest you consider good sources of used equipment - Adorama, B&H, KEH. Look for cameras with low shutter activation counts. Test the camera or lens as soon as you get it to satisfy your potential needs. Quickly return the lens if it doesn't seem to work for your needs.
Try to not get too deep in the weeds with camera specs. And seek out resources of info that seem unbiased. I look to dxomark.com for lens comparisons for my camera model. - You will need to replace your current lenses to keep up with the higher resolution and quality of more modern cameras than your current rebel.
