I'm troubled by your "temporary final image", not the image itself but the wording.
A couple years ago our local high school seniors had to perform a certain number of hours of "mandatory voluntary service". Apparently they didn't see any problem with that.

Re flipping: I tend to prefer any empty space to be on the left, so in this case I am more comfortable with your original over Sony's demo. This scene looks similar to a section of the Yakima River Canyon Rd (which has been closed for two days because of wildfire
). For me the entire composition is the story, so I never really noticed the trees as being centered.Again, thank you Kathy for sharing your journey - virtual and real - with us!

Thanks, Linda. I appreciate your comments and value your opinions. I've never been along the Yakima River. This is the Weiser River - it's southwestern Idaho and very close to the Washington border.

- UHH guidelines: "Please do not edit and re-upload other people's pictures without their explicit permission."
