I am hoping for a little direction here. A good friend's birthday is coming and they love this shot.
I don't plan to go too large on the print.

Question is, color or not? Any thoughts on better processing is always welcomed too!

I like the color but I think the cruiser in the lower right has to go, it serves as a distraction.

While I normally gravitate toward B&W I think this shot demands color. They stand up well in DDL. I do not have the "artist's eye" I'm sure others will help you with that.

Color, and if your friends like the photo as is, I'd have their print done the same as it is now.

Rob, In color you have more impact. In Photoshop if you have it you need to eliminate the boat on the right. It is a visual disturbance. I like the square version. My 3 cents

Definitely color. I would crop out the two boats. They don't add anything to image. The ocean and mountains create a peaceful image.

Both are really good, but I prefer the color.
(Leave the boats, they add interest and scale.)

I too would go with the color. The square one. And I would crop out the boat on the right and th9nk about cloning out the sailboat too. I would crop the bottom off up to the darker line in the water. Beautiful photo.

Got it, I'll work on that. Not a strength of mine yet but practice makes perfect!

Thanks so much for your compliment and vision on this image. I lack the skills for cloning things out of images......

Thank you very much! I'm seeing a trend with leaving the boats for scale and interest!
