I received an email that my package was delivered from FedEx. Since I was sitting right by the front window, I thought that was unlikely. Looking down the street, I saw the truck making a delivery at another house. Within a minute, the truck was in my driveway and the package was at my door. I guess the driver marked both deliveries on the same street as completed at the same time. Funny.

I can't remember which delivery service it was but I was able to watch the truck on a map as it moved around the neighborhood. When it started up my street I went to the front door and there he was, in my drive.
Technology is really something isn't it?

On the other hand . . . it is about 60 feet from the curb to my front door. A recent FedEx delivery was dropped on the sidewalk roughly at the halfway point.

That may have been as far as he could throw it...

I get that notice every so often, but when the truck gets withing a few miles of my house, it's discontinued. I don't know why I can follorw the truck some days but not others.

UPS & Amazon Local do that - I usually find a reason to be in the driveway or the garage when they are on my street

I had a driver that would enter all the packages delivered when they were loaded in the truck in the morning. I would receive items late afternoon.

The FedEx driver here has started leaving packages in my mailbox which is 500 feet away from the house and not in sight and marking them delivered. I search my house and the 3 porches then around the garage and then make the trip to the mailbox. Frustrating!

My Amazon delivery person even takes a photo of the package at the delivered location.

I ordered an item from Amazon a few days ago. The tracking info from the USPS said it would arrive on Thursday, 8/27/20. I was outside yesterday,Wednesday 8/26/20, when the postman arrived. He had the package with him. I told him the item wasn't supposed get here until tomorrow and could he bring back then. Since I didn't want to have him return with it I went ahead and took the package even though it was the wrong day. I hope it didn't screw up the system with an early delivery.

We get a weekly food delivery from Home Chef, shipped via Fed-Ex. Our address clearly marked on the package is 318. The Fed-Ex driver has for the last two weeks dropping it at our neighbors door. Her address is 218. Both houses have the addresses in large
Metal letters facing the street.

That's funny! Sort of. There was a record of his delivery time, though, so it was funny but not smart.

I wonder if he had an unpleasant experience regarding a delivery.
