My preference is for B&H based on over 40 years of doing business.

I've done business with all, and have no complaints with any. I buy mostly older film gear, and I think I've gotten slightly better pricing at times from Roberts. I'm also a big fan of New England based Hunt's Photo, and both their B&M and online stores.

They are all good. I buy most of my gear used from KEH, but when I want new, I check both B&H and Adorama, but mostly use Adorama. Rarely, but occasionally do use Amazon.

Roberts salespeople wont steer you wrong.

Sorry, but you're not going to get a good answer. If someone buys dozens of items from all those companies you mention, he will have a basis to form an opinion. I bought one lens from KEH - perfect transaction. I could have bought from another seller and had a bad experience, but that doesn't mean that other seller was bad.

All the dealers you mention have very good reputations, and for good reason. Decide what you want, see who has it in stock, check shipping prices.

BEST is a arbitrary term for which is best. I prefer the term alternitive. All three have advantages. It depends on what you want. Used is not as constant as NEW, there are various condition and ratings on used equipment to standardize which of the three are BEST when it comes to used.
Sometimes one of the three will be out of stock on a particular item, does that make the other two best or lucky?
I use both B&H and Adorama for what each is BEST for ME.
