That's the reason Greta uses dog fences. She keeps them narrow. That is because even though they could they won't jump into a narrow enclosure without a good place to land. Hers are mostly 5-6ft wide but long.They eat everything! Then too both in our 70's she doesn't have desire for large gardens vegetable or flowers like she used to. She used to call them long legged vermin. Tried a lot of things but they usually destroyed he gardens. Now the biggest thing the bird feeders. They will empty it in a few minutes. At least it takes squirrels a little longer.
