Sony Cyber-shot DSC-RX100 VII ... Apparenty it is impossible to keep one!
My wife just bought an RX 10 IV. It is me trying to get my grubby hands on her camera!

I’m glad my wife isn’t into photography. Maybe you can borrow it sometime. Sorry.
Borrow what? Your wife or the camera?

Now I do not have it anymore. My wife 'black mailed me' and took it from me...
I have a son who took one and my wife took the next. I'm not telling anyone I have one.

I think it is one of the most perfect cameras. With 1" sensor and 24 megapixel I have no problem printing out at 19x13, looks as good as my a6500 and only slightly under what my a7ii can give me (and you have to pixel peep to see it). It is a whole camera bag that fits in my shirt pocket.

In other words, adhering to the old words of husbandly wisdom that states the best advice is to just say “Yes, Dear.”

She likes small cameras I guess, for travel I originally purchased the first RX100, then two years ago I got the VI, but they hardly get used. I have two Nikon 1 V3 cameras and all the lenses made for that series and though a little bigger than the Sony, they are still manageable for traveling.
