Thanks and yes every once in a while I get where I just can't go to sleep...I have been playing with the Sigma lens today a Pixel timer.....figured out that I wasn't fine tuning the focus good enough on these shots....going to go back out tonight and play some more, hopefully I can get some sharper shots.

Great shots! We are surrounded by very tall trees so star gazing from our property is very difficult. Thanx for sharing.

Your welcome.....I can never really get a great sunset shot from the house because of all the trees....but glad I can still see the stars!
