Thanks, a great review of the basics everyone using a focal length of over 100mm (35mm equivalent) needs to know. In reality, the same principles might apply to using a 50mm in the wind, or on a boat or in a moving car.

Thank you David Would the info be the same for the lens I have? Sigma 50-500 1:4-6.3 APO DG HSM EX sigma. It has af or m but not an is switch. Sorry for the late thanks.
