First of a series.

These notes are a result of changes in family circumstances.
Most of the images are mine, however a couple were purchased and a few inherited.
For myself the images that are the most memorable are the ones that have personal meaning.

Not so important (1):

First up are the flower pics (pics #1 & #2). A very pleasant way to pass the time, not difficult to photograph (if it is not windy), and they loook good.
These were taken in a local nursery about 20 minutes walk away from. We would walk over there for lunch (Australians in urban areas tend to get food mixed
up with shopping) and after lunch I would do some photography.

Next are birds in flight.
These can be tricky to photograph, however the skills gained will come in very handy for shootoing other action subject, like sport etc.

Thanks for looking and more to come and feel free to ask questions and contribute.

Excellent photos! The ones I find most important are family photos and memorable events, most of which involve family. My photos help bring back memories of events, even minor ones such as a walk around our neighborhood.

Richard, a great question. To me I would say most of them are my favorites. When merged together in albums it shows a history of your life and others that touch it. It also allows me to enjoy firsts for me. Some of them would be newborns human and animals. Photos from a new home or other item like a car, boat, etc. Items I accomplished in sports or photography.

I could go on and on but you get the idea.
