Today, in my humble opinion, it is very difficult to find a bad lens. To begin with the technologies available in the manufacturing of lenses are available to all lens makers. Only when it comes to tolerances we can see the differences in price and quality.
The image of the flower is a nice one and I wonder why you decided to go wide open if I see no selective focus here. Looks to me a small aperture would have been much better for this image but that is me.
It all depends what you are looking for in a lens and if you do pixel peeping. There are many better quality lenses on the market and usually carry a hefty price tag than some of the lower quality lenses. At other times some of the older lenses outperform the newer lenses in IQ, the Nikon 24-70mm f2.8 G is one of the example where the same lens in the newer E class has less IQ, but has VR where the G lens does not.
