Peak Design straps use a tripod plate to attach to so you have both capabilities on the camera at all times.

You are getting outstanding recommendation. Should you plan to travel soon (don't we all wish we could right now?), but sure to -not- use a camera strap that has the brand of camera printed on it. Some things are best not to advertise.
When traveling in Europe, we were cautioned of thieves that love to steal cameras. Hence, my caution to not 'advertise' your camera when traveling. AND, I suppose you can really ignore this, since I suspect none of us are planning on doing any long distance traveling. And travel to Europe? Us American's are blocked from the EU, at the moment.

I used to use a WWII US Navy Gas Mask as a Camera Bag, unfortunately burglars broke into my home in London and stole it, along with the valuable Canon Camera and lens
Peak Design is good.
If you already have a Black Rapid strap get a Kirk or RRS 1" wide clamp and screw the BR fastener into the clamp. Now you can use the strap with any camera body that has an ARCA or similar plate. Just open the clamp and you can put the body into any tripod head.
That little D ring in the screw is not very secure. The one I have only hooks into the screw head by about 1/16" each side.
Peak Design has one that I ordered and I love it. Its a little difficult to describe but look them up and check they're straps. Its really a good design. I can't remember what I paid for it but I remember it wasn't very cheap but well worth their price.

I have travelled around much of Europe. Don't take too much of notice of scare stories about thefts. Just like when I visit US cities just use common sense and stick to areas where there are plenty of people about.
Regarding straps I use your Peak Design ones. The strap fixings attach to a plate on the base of the camera but it will still fit most tripods.
Look forward to travel again including to US. Please get Covid under control a.s.a.p.
The first thing that goes is the camera strap. When I purchased my canon AE-1 I purchased Tandy Leathers camera strap, put a design on it and used it for 38 years even with my Canon DSLR. I recently remade the camera strap and it should be good for another 38 years with care. A Marine buddy of my oldest son asked me to make a strap for his camera. He was very happy with it once I got the design worked so it would show if he adjusted it.
I will post tomorrow since I am currently at work and do not have the photos with me

I am for whatever number we're up to on Op-Tech straps with connectors that go through the camera lugs. I have had a sling strap for years from them and I also have one of the double shoulder straps. I love them both, even though I use the sling strap far more often. Never had a single problem out of one of their straps. I would highly recommend.

Do you have a Picture?
Ok, as promised here are the photos of both camera straps that I have made within the last year. The first four is the camera strap that I was commission to do, the last three is my personal strap that I did last year.
The design and color on the first set of photos is what was requested, a medium to dark brown with USMC on it, The unpadded neck pad was something That I added to give a little more comfort and I put his name on it.
The bottom three is my own design. The stitching along the edge is sections of red, white and blue thread all done by hand. All work on both camera straps was done by hand.
Both camera straps is based on my original camera strap which I used as a pattern.
Both of these straps are slightly heavier in the weight of the leather used and about a 1/2 Inch narrower. This was based on the available size of the fittings at the ends. Also I did not want anything that would be shiny or reflective.
This style of camera strap suits me and is very durable as the longevity of my original camera strap can testify to.

Peak Design has the easiest and most usable.
I agree they make a great strap that can be detached with very little still on the camera
Beautiful craftsmanship and what attention to detail. That stitching is amazing.
