Marturo, you found us...... Good set. I love the blossoms. Apple? Or cherry? Some of your film cameras I assume.
Thank You Frank, yes the flowers are Cherry blossoms & the pics are all using the D7100.
Except the one of me in my Mountain hideaway. My wife got me with her Nikon FE
shooting Turks cap lillys with my Nikon N90.

It's funny how the little dogs can be the most protective of their things! LOL!
It's part of a game he plays. The treat is his, but he expects you to try to take it so play can be part of the joy.

Well, Clicker, your water challenge "flushed out" (Bob in FL!!!) some gorgeous water scenes and welcomed new folks to the Challenge section.
A word about:
No Host Just Post summer weekends: Any photo you wish to share (family friendly) preferably something shot during the week or something special from an archive. Each weekend someone starts it off, but comments by the host aren't necessary. In fact, it's always "no guilt" and "no hurt feelings". Everyone is busy in summer and weekends are precious few. So, post what you want, and comment if you wish.
Was down my favorite road this week...

Hey all! Good to see everyone's contributions to this summer Free Sunday. I've had a rough few months, but finally got back to the camera and my favorite place Assategue Island. There has been 6 foals born during the shutdown, all Colts! Two more are expects so hoping for some Fillies! Here are a few of 2 of the new colts.

Total agreement with you there.
Thanks for the kind Invite

p.7 What a wonderful pictorial story! May be a dumb question, but do the cameras work? They are not only engineering marvels, but also works of art. So glad you shared.

It still works & I hope to pass it down to my Grandson someday.
Ahh - you just answered my question.

p.8 I figured you were going through an intense time, Nancy (GiGiMac). A camera is great therapy. Beautiful horses and darling "little ones". Very good to see you.
The last of my "barn" pix.

He actually has a lot of fun dealing with the attempt.

OT for a bit here ---some of you will likely remember RichardQ, our senior "photographer" who was a photographer in WW11 as well as Life magazine and so much more. Always a gentleman and very inventive. When he could no longer hold a camera, he created images on his scanner.
I received this PM from his daughter today. He would love it if UHH friends would send PMs to him. So folks please send him greetings. Remember his photos standing by plane propellors, the compelling portrait of a mother holding her blind child while the child's chubby hand caressed Mommy's face, street scenes from France and the devastation of cities...many of you will remember your favorite "RichardQ" images. Like the nun with the huge wingspan headpiece. Here is Karen's note.
Hi, My name is Karen, I am Richard's daughter. He has been struggling with health issues, is currently in the hospital, hoping to be released to rehab soon. He asked me to contact you to say hello, and thank you for your concern. If you want to send him any message(s), I know he would love it. I'll take my laptop to the hospital today, so I can read him any responses that you might have time to send. He has received so much joy from participating on this forum for the last few years. Thank you to everyone for making his life happier.

I really like the way you use the lines to tell the story.
My addition to lines, nothing like yours for sure.
Thank you for sharing, I really love your web site.
PS: I fixed the crooked barracks, only I don't remember where I put it.
This is an old Schenck Job Corps Barracks for the Forestry school in
Pisgah Forest outside Asheville NC. I took this in the 80s it was just
out in the woods. Note the windows are not broken out, it is true
this place has many colored Timber Rattle Snakes around.
