If you aren't familiar with Richard's work, you would enjoy scrolling through history here.

Started reading, planned on going to bed over an hour ago, but Richards words and pictures grabbed me.
Truly amazing.
What a book this would make.
Wow

I'm not sure what family will do with them. They did not want them on internet, and have copyrighted them I believe Richard said. It would make one riveting book.

His body of work really needs to be put into a form where it can be enjoyed and learned from - it is of great historical value.

Thank you so much Marturo. I appreciate the lovely comment and glad you enjoyed the website. Was the Schenck Job Corps in any way related to the CCC projects (my father in law worked on at least one CCC project) I love this image. And no broken windows? WOW. Looks like it could be a wonderful escape place. As for "don't remember where I put it" _____uh huh, been there and will likely repeat frequently.

Yes indeed Pat this area is rich in the Cradle of Forestry, CCC, Schenck Job Corps & Pisgah National Forest.
One is liable to find most anything if you get off the beaten path with your camera.

I thought PP was going to be a problem, however it seems finding those fixed pix is going to be the real problem LOL.

What a beautiful, delicate rose. I was "losing" some when I imported directly from my library files into whatever PP. Then on export - they didn't return. Some returned in a folder they made for themselves ("Assets") Some reappeared in the same folder - but either at the beginning or end of the string of images. Now I just export to a folder for photos to be processed and then export back to that folder adding something like ".ed"after the file #s, then import the PP'd file into my main library. Sounds like a lot of work, but it's the only way I can keep things straight.

My addition to lines, nothing like yours for sure.
Thank you for sharing, I really love your web site.

PS: I fixed the crooked barracks, only I don't remember where I put it.

This is an old Schenck Job Corps Barracks for the Forestry school in
Pisgah Forest outside Asheville NC. I took this in the 80s it was just
out in the woods. Note the windows are not broken out, it is true
this place has many colored Timber Rattle Snakes around.

Last one looks like the stone bridges going over the carriage roads in Acadia.
